Audiobooks
Yesterday I finished An Echo of Things to Come, by James Islington.
Like book 1 of the Licanius trilogy, the narration by Michael Kramer was
excellent. I am seriously considering looking up his audiobooks and
listening to them just because of his narration style. The story itself
had a few rough edges, in particular because of the flashbacks. In the
middle of the book it got a bit tedious. After that, the story really
picked up, and the rough patch was definitely worth it. I’m not sure
what I’ll listen to next. I think I need a audiobook-break before I can
get started with book 3 of the Licanius trilogy, even though I am super
excited for it!
E-books
Still reading: In Onze Tijd by Tim Fransen on my e-reader, The Castle
by Kafka on my phone, The Comfort Crisis on my tablet.
Dead-tree copies
Beren op de Weg, Spinsels in je Hoofd. Not sure why I haven’t
finished this one yet, I think there are only 10 pages or so
remaining.
Plans
