Here's my old Knights of the Compiler blog. I posted on it from December 2012 until October 2013. It mostly contains a little bit of documentation of a few small games I made that year, and some (possibly drunk) rambling here and there. It's not much, but I remember having fun pushing myself to document the process of game development a bit, and also appreciated the feeling of having accomplished something when a post was finished and visible online.
I also enjoyed exploring how black-and-white I could get the website theme to look. Funnily enough that's still the colorscheme I gravitate towards for most of my projects. It's only since a year or two that I'm actually aware of my habit of preferring monochrome markups. A peer of mine once called it "newspaper style", which I don't find very accurate since I associate newspapers with black on grey or black on beige. Still, it has a nice ring to it, and it is generally how I mentally categorize this family of styles now.
As the blog was WordPress based, there was also a comment section. I rarely got any feedback, but I remember getting a comment once or twice from kind individuals somehow stumbling upon my blog. Chances are I had just sent them an unsolicited link to my blog via a group chat; I don't remember. Still, at the time I really appreciated those small but meaningful comments. Thanks for that.
The script I *braincoded* to turn the wordpress posts and pages into a more useful Markdown folder hierarchy might be useful for others. Though the output still needs some manual work to get the output in a pure Markdown state. I wrote about it in [a blog post](/post/wordpress-export-to-md).
